I am having a problem with my computer. I restarted my computer earlier today and now the Folders: My Pictures, My Movies, My Music are locked. I am not Tech savvy so I don't have a single clue on what to do or what is going on.
Help would be appreciated.
What exactly do you mean by 'locked'? Can you post a screenshot or be more specific?
Locked as in it has a little icon next to the folder, and if I try to access it it doesn't let me.
What does it say when you try to access it?
"C:\Users\public\Documents\[insert My Music here etc.}
Access is Denied"
Did you recently set up Windows Media Player's streaming function? This happened to me when I used that last.
If all else fails, use unlocker.
Check security credentials. Make sure you're an administrator.
