• Swelling/discoloration after injection

So I got a Meningitis shot three days ago. The day after I got really sore all over my body (especially the spot on my arm where I got injected) and sick, so I called the doc and they said that's normal. I woke up this morning (which is really yesterday morning but whatever) and my right arm, where they gave the shot, was still hurting a lot. Well, here I am right now, my arm still hurts like hell when I move it or press on it. It has some minor swelling and is a bit red in a 2-3 inch diameter around the injection spot. Does this sound...bad? I can't call the real doc right now because it's kind of 2:32 in the morning, so I'm relying on you, Dr. Facepunch!
You have AIDS. But seriously, i think you need to see the doctor again. Tell 'em he was wrong and its not normal at all!

The doc said that being sick was normal, I didn't say anything about the spot on my arm.
tell them about it. I don't think its normal. . .
:ohdear:
Wound closed due to aids
Oh my. [editline]07:41AM[/editline] I say suck it up and wait it out until tomorrow. I'm sure it won't kill you.
Yeah that's my current plan. If I don't post back here within 12 hours it probably spread over my body and killed me.
Don't die on me damnit!
Keep us updated every waking minute until morning. We want to know when/if an anomaly occurs so we may study and learn from this ordeal.
My sister did that, her whole arm swelled up and she got all pukey and pale. It goes away in a week.
Yes, it's normal.
Alright I made it through the night. The spot hasn't changed at all. I figure I've got about 15 hours left to live.
can i have your tv after you die
It will be buried with me.
can i have your pets after you die
what about your girlfriend? will she also be buried with you?
yes and yes
damn. . . i'll come to your funeral anyway.
