• Chrome can't connect to localhost?

Hey all, I just installed metasploit, and when I try to connect to "https://localhost:3790/" I get the standard "Webpage is not available" error. Here's what I figured out: It's not Chrome, as IE gives me the equivalent error. http://localhost:3790 gives me a "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to localhost:3790" error. ping to "localhost" works. http/https://127.0.0.1:3790 still get their respective errors. I can't figure out if netstat can lookup a single port, if someone posts that, I'll do it. I read the help page and googled it.
Can you make metasploit run on port 80?
use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost
use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost
Good idea, but no. Still getting the same errors [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline]
Can you make metasploit run on port 80?
I've never used it before, so I can't tell you, but I'll look into it. Thanks
check for proxy settings, it is probably trying to run a script internet options>connections>Lan settings>uncheck everything but Auto detect
