HP - Compaq Pavilion Elite m9090 - Is it possible to upgrade to a 64 bit motherboard

Hi there.
This is a bit of a noobish question, but I just wanted to be safe. Is it possible to upgrade the default motherboard on the HP - Compaq Pavilion Elite m9090 to a 64 bit Motherboard. If so where could I get one?
Thanks
~Joe
You just need a LGA775 Motherboard. Possibly some DDR3 ram too.
Thanks
Would this defiantly fit? Also, would I have to buy the motherboard and a processor chip to go with it?
I was thinking if I just needed to get a new processor chip it would be cheaper, but does it work like that?
A lot of the Google search results are telling me it needs DDR2 RAM, not DDR3, is DDR3 Cheaper/Better? The other thing I needed to ask is if there was some kind of RAM limit, eventually I was hoping to upgrade to (at least) 16 GB of RAM. If there is a limit of less than 4GB I can't see any reason to upgrade, seeing as 32bit supports that :S
Thanks

There's no such thing as a 64-bit motherboard, your hardware's most likely already 64-bit compatible.
its a matter of obtaining a 64-bit version of Windows

He already has a LGA755 motherboard and 64 bit motherboards dont exist.

You can use 8GB max on that motherboard:

All you have to do is re-install windows in 64 bits. (which you can do for free as you already have a windows key).
Do note that more RAM doesnt speed up your system. It only allows you to do more things at once.
(Unless you have less than 2 GB)
16GB is a bit much for your pc (and your mobo doesnt support it). Also you will never use it unless you are into video editing/modeling/virtual machines. Get 8GB.
And yes your motherboard is old and only supports ddr2.
