• Dual Monitor/HDMI setup help

So, before a couple of weeks ago, I had a dual monitor setup with an acer (connected via VGA) and a Samsung SyncMaster (Connected via HDMI). It worked fine, up until about 2 weeks ago, the Samsung stopped working when connected through the HDMI (VGA works fine). when I fool around with the menus on the samsung the only thing I get is "Check Signal Cable". I've tried with multiple HDMIs (all of them fully functional through TVs) to no avail. Reinstalling drivers has yielded little results as well. It seems to be a common issue, but I've yet to find an actual concrete reason or fix for it.
Have you tried turning it on and off again? I know my Acer monitor won't let me change inputs unless I restart my monitor.

In fact, as long as the Samsung's connected to VGA (which is what my Acer's connected to) it works fine.
I just tried connecting a TV via HDMI to the computer and it worked fine. This is definitely a Monitor only problem
Test the monitor on another computer
Nope, still nothing.
