I need a (preferably) internal pci wireless networking card for my computer out in my garage.

Orange dot is approx location of my router and the yellow dot is approx location of my pc in the garage. I see all sorts of cards and whatnot on ebay and newegg and just was hoping someone has some solid experience with a somewhat cheap card. I did get a somewhat stable connection with one of those old school linksys pci cards that everyone has so I'm thinking if I get even a slightly better one I should be good.
Just get a solid cheaper N one with longer antennae and cantenna it
Three bars and stable is fine for me. I'm not gaming or anything out there just internet browsing and at the most streaming music. Total distance is probably about 60 feet and only goes through one real wall

This will serve you well. I live in a school at the moment where we aren't supposed to have internet in our rooms, but antennae gives me enough range to use the internet in the common areas of another building.

Crank it up a notch and mount it outside.
You're honestly better off getting a Wireless AP and hooking your setup to an ethernet because that is an absord range.
Nothing absurd about that range, especially with a proper antenna.
