Will it even have female grunts? Cus afaik Arma doesn't let you play as a female?
Most disappointing part of the patch for me is the removal of the bandit system. Now I don't know who to trust and everybody is just shooting everybody else on sight now that there are no repercussions for it. I have not met one single friendly since this patch rolled out; everyone has shot me on sight.

YAY.
I think once the novelty of shooting everyone in the face wears off, people will work harder to cooperate and make sure they don't get backstabbed, and it allows people who DO want to be sneaky and backstab to not be forced to just DM after the first few kills.

these guys should present the option of making a SVN that's downloadable by the public, but not editable, so that patching is less of an headache and more easier

Because the point is, this mod is supposed to be almost like a virtual reality of sorts. YOU are your character. Rocket is going for a "what if this really happened to you" type of set up.

Eh, seems a bit pointless from what I've seen of Day Z. Gives a few players the options of being ladies and diversifying things a little, so perhaps this is just an experiment to set up the possibilities of more character customization in future patches.
Removing the Bandit skin entirely seems a little extreme. A more logical approach would be to simply push back the point where the skin changes, meaning players who were hardcore into PvP could still be differentiated, and add to that whole meta game experience.

Yeah it's totally unrealistic for people to be tricked via seduction IRL.
i played as a chick in video games to see it through a different perspective and it isn't that different at all
Who the fuck is dumb enough to get seduced by a female video game character? I knew some ARMA players took the game waaaay too seriously and get immersed way too easily, but that just takes the cake.
