• What OS to put on a Dell Mini?

So I have a Dell Mini 9v, and i'm not sure as to what OS to put on it. It's already famous for being able to run OS X so easily, but I really don't like this OS. (I have experience with it, I was forced to use it for 3 months) I love Windows 7 but I don't want it on the netbook either. I want to run a more "creative" OS if you know what I mean. I know how to use Linux but again, it gets boring [unless someone knows any wacky distros out there] I was looking at that thread of alternative operating systems and i'm not sure as to what would work the best with the netbook or what would be most usable, any ideas as to what OS I should use? [the computer will onnly be used for a browing the web and typing documents and maybe spreadsheets] Info about the netbook: http://www.dell.com/us/dfh/p/inspiron-mini9/pd
It seems as if you don't like any of the OS's haha
I'd suggest linux, but if you're unsure why not just put them all on there?
All OS's get old after a while
Meego. Or Android x86
MS-DOS
If you have a use for linux, or you need the extra performance, then use linux. If not, just use windows and stop trying to be edgy and alternative.

You know that the OS isn't for entertainment, right?

OS Hipster
FreeBSD
What do you mean by "creative" operating system? If you really want to be creative then make your own linux distro: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/
Windows 7 will get you longer battery life than with Linux and will run more applications. I have it on my laptop and it works great once you use the slimmer taskbar.

Haiku OS
The Hannah Montana Linux distro looks fun. http://hannahmontana.sourceforge.net/Site/Home.html
MS-DOS
Don't forget to set up your extended memory!
OK, so this netbook is really weirding me out right now, I've tried 5 different linux distros, windows 7, windows xp, and more, and for some strange reason ChromeOS was the only operating system that actually booted, I know its not my flashdrives fault as it's worked on the other computers I tested it on, any ideas?
Lubuntu works pretty well, should perform great on a netbook.
