All day, I hear a sound, usually when turning off your computer it sounds like something is shutting down (usually you hear it speed up then turn off, or slow down) and thats what happening throughout the day, to my computer. I don't know what's doing it, or if its a concern, but I would like to know. Thanks FP.
Fans, HD's spinning? function on all mobos put fans on 100% for a few seconds when you boot, then slows them down, they only speed up occasionally becuase of the heat, think it was called s.m.a.r.t or w/e I don't remember [editline]01:22PM[/editline] I know there is a catchy shut down noise, I'm not even sure where it comes from, maybe all the fans and hard drives coming to a stop make it. [editline]01:24PM[/editline] Well if you're worried open your case and let it run and see if anything is wrong, bad fan? Hard drives not screwed in right and making a vibration noise? etc
