A bit surprising, but with Titanfall right on the horizon I imagine a lot of people bought Xbox One in February just for that.
I don't think it's surprising at all. Frankly, it was always obvious the Xbone would be a success regardless of the bad press. It has too much brand pull behind it and the majority of people actually didn't give a crap. To assume everyone was going to refuse to buy an xbone due to poor practices to the point that the console wouldn't end up a big moneymaker is totally naive.
