It's called BSOD or DOSDB or something. I've been getting so many steam scam attempts lately so I need something to do to then except spamming username and passwords in the login box.
Something like DDOS, actually that might be it.
ddos. but it's illegal in most countries. and just ignore the scam attempts.
Yep it is.
DOS or DDOS -- (Denial of Service)
I think you're referring to DOS. Denial of Service. Or DDOS. Distributed Denial of Service. Both, I believe, are illegal, and not something you want to be performing when you don't even know what it's called.
Mah automerge! :saddowns: wow quick posts.
DOS or DDOS -- (Denial of Service or Direct Denial of Service)
Distributed, not Direct.
DDOS, it's illegal, and can get you years in jail. Report them to google as attack sites is the best you can be doing with your rage.
DOS and DDOS are not the same thing. DOS is simply one user flooding the site, where DDoS are thousands of zombies on a botnet attacking a site, controlled by the creator
Allright, thanks everybody. I just get so tired of the ~30 attempts I get every mounth. And they just leave the link and go offline so I can't troll them :argh: Thanks everyone!
