People discriminate based on post quality, and it isn't the join date that is judged, it's just that when theres a shitpost it's likely by a younger member that's joined more recently. And then everyone sees the bad post attached to the current year joined and it makes a stereotype.

The problem is that with people with low post counts and recent join dates, you never know if they are being sarcastic or serious when they go "OMG l0l XDDDD!!!!!!11".
