How do you handle the 'accidental spit' in a conversation?

Admit it- we've all done it. Maybe those times we just get a little bit excited in a conversation and start accidentally spraying the other person in your own saliva, or maybe its when you start saying words beginning with 'P' that you soak your acquaintance.
Either way- its incredibly awkward when the other person either looks disgusted or wipes their face dry
Do you joke about it? Do you hand them a tissue? Do you make a big deal and apologize??
If i'm with friends I usually start laughing, but with your boss...who knows what you should do? :/
What do you do?
Hand them a tissue and say, "sorry im not normally that quick" wink at them then walk away.
We have sex on the spot.
"oh man whoops sorry dude"
i dont have this problem too often because i make sure to control my saliva
i do it all the time. it goes all over peoples faces and i fell ashamed

Well if you do it to everyone, i'm sure some people like it, so you probably make their weird day.
don't worry, it's just some cum i've been saving in my mouth
lick it off.
Talk even faster as a distraction.
I don't really spit when I talk, as a british man I have been taught the best manners and social graces possible.
I'm also incredibly charming and witty.

I'm a British man too, but I tend to expel saliva all over the place at the most inappropriate times

Obviously my humour is too dry for you to comprehend.:coffee:
Spit on them again and say, it was all in good taste. :unsmith:
Generally it goes like this
[I spit]
[They're too polite to say/do anything]
Me: I just spat then, didn't I?
Them: Yeah, yeah you did.
Me: Ha, sorry.
End.
I spit some more.
I once had a bit of food accidentally spat in my eye this way :barf:
Yes; an accident...

In other words, you view yourself as superior to me if you think I cannot comprehend what you say.
Okay, I was wrong, you're just a dick.

Hear that whooshing sound? That's the joke going over your head again.
Anyway, I usually say "sorry about that", or "excuse me", and just go on saying whatever it was I was saying.
Oh god, since elementary school I've been known to have a drooling problem.
Still dunno how I managed to have at least three friends.
Doesn't happen a lot, but when I do I say "so sorry" and wipe it off for them.

Hear that stupid sound? It's your voice. Learn2Sarcasm.
Just stop talking, get a serious face, and go "I have spread the infection. My job is complete." and walk away.
I pretend like nothing happened, so they do too.
I say "Oops, sorry." and then carry on.
look at each other awkwardly
we then reach for a tissue at the same time
our hands touch
hot make out session begins

This is exactly why there should be age restrictions on the internet.
I always gulp down my saliva before talking.
No more [del]SPITTER GOOOOO!!!1[/del]spitting.
The end.
Spit in thier face and watch them suffer too.
