I'm getting this error code:- [code] Error Code: -118 Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet. [/code] an awful lot, and I don't know why. There's no firewalls in place, and my proxy settings are pefect. I can connect to any other website fine, it is JUST web-names under steam which I can't access for certain periods! Please help! Thanks!

Sounds like your DNS server or hosts table is fucked. Try a different DNS server (Google's maybe) you will need to set it in Internet Explorer as that's how Windows judges the default internet settings, if that doesn't work you will need to check the host file, it's in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc. The IP might have been blocked or something else
