right now I'm looking at these 3 cards:

I'm not sure if I want to spend the extra cash on a 560 ti, or even on the 560 itself instead of sticking with the cheaper 460 or 550 ti.
I'd also need a better cpu heatsink because I'd definitely want to overclock a good amount if I were to get these cards, and I really have no idea where to start with that

550ti is out of the question, the 460 and 6850 outperforms it by a decent bit for the same price.
The zotac 460 or a 6850 is what you're looking for if you do not want to spend $220 on a gigabyte 560ti.
so the 560 non-ti is not worth it?
Zotac 560 goes for 190, gigabyte 560ti goes for 220.
Its still a well performing card, but I would spend those extra 30 bucks for that extra performance and overclocking ability.
what about an extra $65? I can get the 560 from ecs for $155 with rebate here:

also how much will my current cpu bottleneck these cards?
will I really notice the difference between the 460 and the 560 and the 560 ti?
The 560 is of course a tad better then a 460, not a skyhigh performance difference ,but if you can get one for $155 then it is a very good buy.
65$ is a bit too much for such a performance difference tho.
