The story for this version of BF3 is found in one of the PSP games. it has the same main characters and a cutscene very similar to a battle seen in the video I linked to.
Plus it also has Space and ground battles in one map like BF3 was going to have.

No First Assault was the name. They were going to make BF3 if it sold well.

Buying the license to make a game from a gigantic franchise like Starwars isn't even worth the risk, considering that the game might not sell or shit. Not to mention they probably can't buy it even if they wanted.

BF3 would sell millions just from brand recognition.

kinda like titan mode in 2142. honestly i think titan mode is better than anything this game would have to offer.
Didn't Tribes 2 or Tribes Vengeance or one of the Tribes games have a map that could be fought in both space and land at the same time? I remember that waaaay before anyone else ever thought to try it...
no tribes 2 simply had floaty fortress maps where you could only get to a fortress with an energy pack and light armor or a flying vehicle.
i don't think there's a game out right now where there are two gamescapes in one that you switch between (space and land)

What happened to it? Because it looks so damn epic. I would play the shit out of it in multiplayer with some friends. But sadly, I doubt this will happen.

Being a Star Wars fan from like 6 years old, this is a perfect Star Wars game for me. Battlefront II was, and this, just looks damn epic in every possible way.

This looks awesome, if this was released i would play it a lot. I want a new Battlefront but at least a new Battlefront game is likely to be next-gen now, though. I really hope Disney do something and make one.

If Disney doesn't license a BF3 like this they should have the star wars license taken off them.
