Would anyone on this forum be interested in making Shattered Horizon moddable?

TL;DRIA If you want Shattered Horizon to be moddable, please go to this link and post: http://community.futuremark.com/forum/showthread.php?181452-A-silly-Shattered-Horizon-Suggestion&p=1839759#post1839759
A few days ago I remembered the space game shattered horizon, and how much fun it was.
For those who don't know, Shattered Horizon is a 6DOF FPS set in orbit around both the earth and a shattered moon after mining went awry. You can either choose the ISA, the people who want to get the miners apprehended, and MMC, the miners themselves.
Regardless, the atmosphere and music of the game is great, the weapons are cool, silent running is an experience in itself and it features my favourite map in any game: Slingshot.

The game came out in 2010, and launched with only one multi-rifle, 4 grenade types and 4 maps.
People complained about a lack of content, so they went ahead and added 8 more unique maps, 5 more weapons, 5 more grenade types, and changed the game code so that the bullets were projectiles and not hit scans. Then they added bots on top.
Alas, this was not enough to save the game. Interest dwindled. It could have been brought back- but then Futuremark Games, the creator of Shattered Horizon, was bought by Rovio Entertainment in 2012. While they still held the copyrights to it, almost all of the devs either spent their time making more Angry Birds or led to make their own games, one of which is RESET.
To get to the point: I wondered if the game could be brought back to life through modding. Currently, the game is locked away behind .pak files. So, out of hope, I went to the Futuremark forums unsupported products section and posted about it. This was the response I got.
I'm not at liberty to decide or promise this kind of thing, so don't take this as a yes, but the thought has crossed our minds a few times. It all boils down to demand. If there was enough of it we probably would at least examine the possibility. I'd suggest everyone who'd like this to happen give us direct feedback on the issue.
Also I can't stress this enough: The game is officially an unsupported product, so most of the stuff regarding SH is volunteer work.
I know this is a shot in the dark, but this is the only chance, in my opinion, of this game truly 'existing' ever again. If you or anyone you know wants this to happen, please do as they say and post directly into the thread. If you are in the steam group, let them know as well- It's late and I don have time to do it now. I think it can happen due to the fact that it is now unsupported by Futuremark AND that they on the copyright and not Rovio.
This probably won't amount to anything, but I'm crazy enough to try it.
