Has YouTube been running painfully slow for anyone?

For about four days YouTube has been running stupidly slow. Some videos may load immediately while some will take forever. Other may just appear with an error as well. It is hard to watch any videos and a little annoying since it is more form of video entertainment.
I've heard a few other friends complain about it but can't confirm if it is a worldwide issue, national or just a few people. Not sure but I think it may have something to do with my ISP but not sure about that either.
I haven't been able to find any solid information relating to around this date either since the was an issue around July or early August.
Anyway my ISP is with Virgin Media and I am running on 120mb/s download with 10mb/s upload and located in the UK.
If anyone can confirm the issue or share any news about the problem it will be greatly appreciated.
Yep, YouTube's been a mess for me lately as well. Basically no difference in buffer time between my 100Mb/s fiber line connection and my phone's ~9Mb/s 3G-connection either, they're both just as slow.
The videos also usually "crash" and show an "an error occured" message when I try to change the quality.
I keep seeing that fucking error with static...
Mine's been totally fine.
