Hey all
So recently, my computer started BSOD'ing. These at first occured on startup, but are now starting to become more frequent as time goes on, while the computer is running. All my temps are OK, and the computer was recently cleaned.

Only thing different is that I'm running Windows 8.1 now.
If it helps, the most recent code was 124 (mentioned hal.dll in bluescreen view), while the others were 133 (these didn't mention hal.dll)

Alright, I ran WinDbg and this is what it came up with: http://pastebin.com/DFW1zrcj
I presume this isn't good, since it mentions something about 'GenuineIntel' in there.
As you mentioned with the 124 error, the logs say
0x124_GenuineIntel_PROCESSOR_CACHE
Which means that you're processor is blue screening you
The 133 error may be referring to your graphics card/display drivers
Run a CPU stress test

If that doesn't solve it, I might recommend rebuilding the pc
Also driver updates if needbe

It's more likely due to faulty RAM, run Memtest86, as well

Memtest86 says it's fine, both sticks are OK and none of the BSODs are suggesting anything to do with memory.

GPU drivers are updated, as well as the chipset drivers (I think, I'll make sure when I get home), and none of the BSODS pointed to the GPU drivers. I did run Prime95 on but had to stop it because it hit 90c (stock cooler's not too great)
Well I reinstalled Windows 7 and the BSOD's have gone away. Hopefully the problem was just another glitch in Windows 8.1, and not anything wrong with my hardware :tinfoil:
Get a better cooler / remove it, clean it properly, and apply new thermal paste.
Also, 0x124 is usually caused by malfunctioning RAM
Well, the BSODs appear to have stayed away. Its been almost 3 days since I installed Windows 7 and reset the BIOS, and so far, everything's been going fine. I'll mark the thread as solved if they don't come back (it's looking good).

It turned out the heatsink wasn't on 100% right, so when I repasted it and put it back on properly, the temps dropped about 10c. I tested both sticks separately in another machine and they came back clean there as well (ran it overnight).
