• I finally got my Credit Card to get a $1000 PC, Need help looking for pre-builts

So my $1000 credit card finally came in the mail, and finally I can grab a new PC rig. I want your recommended websites for Pre-Built rigs, or Pre-Builts that are customizable. That said I'm looking for the following. 1. A rig that's easy to replace parts for when I need to upgrade. 2. A Good Graphics card, preferably Nvidia. 3. Allows for a great FPS on High quality settings for games. And if it's a Pre-Built I can customize, what should I keep in mind, what cases are important, etc.
Don't get a pre-built
You're not going to get far with a prebuild on those requirements and budget. Is there any particular why you don't want to build a computer yourself?
:snip:
Back-story. Already had this discussion. Won't do it cause too afraid and I think the mother had a say in it too? Found an i5 system with 8GB of ram and a GTX 960 that was mentioned in the quick questions thread. It ain't too bad. He's also keeping his 1440x900 monitor has his main monitor.
And before anyone says, yeah she knows what she's looking at. I'm not afraid, we just want to fuss in building, I just want to play Fallout 4 and other games, and that's that.
I really don't agree with going with a pre-build either. I'm really against it but if you won't do it then no point in arguing.
Its really not too hard to build one yourself, have a look at some build guides online to get an idea.
Right I got my answers I needed, thanks guys.

Edit: Okay, you really can't expect the pc building sub-forum to not tell you to build it yourself. Ibuypower is okay (and sure, I'll help you get the best one), but how about some ambition.
Also why do you specifically want an Nvidia card?
Get http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/CyberPower_Z97_i7_Configurator with the following changes. Case: Corsair Spec-01 CPU: i5 4460 CPU Cooler: Intel Certified CPU Cooler Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC Mate Video Card: EVGA Superclocked ACX 2.0 GTX 960 2gb Power Supply: XFX TS 550w Hard Drive: 128gb Sandisk SSD + 1tb SATA HDD Combo Under software and services -> Operating System: Windows 10 Home This will take the total to $1011 and should handle any game easily at 1440x900
Also why do you specifically want an Nvidia card?
I just like Nvidia more. No special reason.
I just like Nvidia more. No special reason.
If it's not for specific reasons like drivers, hardware support, etc then I'd hope you'd reconsider. AMD has had some strong offerings this generation and have overhauled their software. I'd just say have an open mind about it. Going with Nvidia just because "well I like nvidia" isn't a good strategy. And that's coming from someone who has thrown about $2500 dollars at nvidia GPU's. But I did so because they were my best option at the time.

Okay so like everyone has said, you should just build it yourself but if you want to get a pre-built still, then here we go. It's incredibly difficult to find cheap yet quality pre-builts due to most companies getting their profits from charging surplus fees of on-release prices for items (as opposed to current prices of components on Newegg, Amazon, etc) and then labour costs and a 'premium' of it being their site (which is B.S.). Still, there are a few choices http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227645 if you really want them http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883158234 or a pre-built with AVADirect (the site with the least premium fees from what I've used). http://avadirect.com/Configure/10189605 (Config Code: 10189605) And then on top of those, just purchase a GPU and SSD if you can. Nvidia GTX 960 from EVGA (a great mid-range card) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487091 Silicon Power 240GB (top-rated!) SSD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0D9-0021-00006 You can search for most pre-builts if you truly want, though. I'd stay very far from anything CyberPowerPC, however, as they have the most customer complaints and faulty products out of the custom config sites. edit: haha oh wow like 11 posts while I made this, that took me too long. go distracted but whoops)
Problem is I feel really lept on because I started this thread out with "I want a Pre-Built." I mean I didn't come in here for that, I'm here in this subforum I barely go to, because I just got the means to buy a REAL gaming computer, and I want professional opinions from people who know more about this stuff than I do, before I make the final commitment to the rig choice I want to purchase.
What we are trying to say is that buying a pre-built is a waste of money. At least in my opinion. You will get more out of your money and more options to choose from if you build it yourself.
And every one is going to say to you. Build it yourself. You learn something. You get it cheaper and you know how it's built cause it's built BY YOU. Just build it yourself dude. Seriously.
