is there any really reason to buy a PS4 just for MGSV I know it looks better but does it look $450( it cost an extra $50 for a PS4 in Canada) better.?
I can't see any way it would ever be worth $450 more on PS4, especially considering the consensus seems to be that it isn't worth the price of the game for what you get out of it. I played a bit of it on a PS3. My only real gripe that I would guess is different on the PS4 is that the framerate was awful.
It's gonna look much much better on the PS4, I played the PS3 version of Ground Zeroes and it's just really barren and the weird resolution it's rendered at makes it look mushy and stuff. And PS4 does have a ton of games coming for it, and if you're not much of a PC gamer, the multiplats on it are going to probably be the best looking of all the console releases. I'd wait for a inevitable MGS5 PS4 bundle before buying it.
PS4 version is way better, the game itself isn't really worth it unless you're a die-hard MGS fan.

Although Tokyo Game Show 2014 might give me more of a reason to buy it.
PS4 has volumetric clouds, better textures, better lighting, and 60fps in 1080p.
PS4 has volumetric clouds, better textures, better lighting, and 60fps in 1080p.
While the ps3 version looks OK it runs like ass, dropping to about 20fps in cutscenes
As much as I love Metal Gear (and dropped $400 on a PS3 specifically for MGS4 when it came out) I'd hold off until The Phantom Pain releases. It's a gorgeous game and runs silky smooth on the PS4, but Ground Zeroes isn't worth it just yet. And I can imagine there'll be a price drop at some point before TPP comes out.
any news when TPP will come out.?
Most likely Early to Mid 2015.
Most likely Early to Mid 2015.
The trailer said 1984.
Does this mean I need a timemachine or can I possibly emulate?
You won't be able to emulate a PS4 or PS3. Someone only very recently got a PS2 emulator working. I would just buy the PS4 if possible, there will be a lot of games to come out in the near future now that everyone's jumping on the "next-gen" bandwagon, so it'll be worth it eventually.
Have you seen the official comparison video? This is the 60fps version so you can really see the difference. [vid]http://trailers-ak.gametrailers.com/gt_vault/1/t_metalgearsolidv_consolecomparison_10kbps.mp4[/vid] There's some more comparison shots on Konami's site, and Digital Foundry did a comparison too. They concluded that out of all versions, PS3 is the worst (slightly less stable frame rates than 360) and PS4 is the best.
