Someone is paying me to make 15 copies of a cd for them
I didn't ask why she needed them, so that way i'm innocent in case she's trying to sell them (Don't ask don't tell) but i want to know how much i should charge?
Take the material cost out for the cd's, how much revenue should i make? 2$ a cd?
also is it illegal to charge someone to make a cd?
well if it's free software, it's illegal, if it's paid for software and you don't have copyright permission it's illegal...
how much is this software commercially?

Wrong. He's creating backups for her to use. What she does with them is different.

$2 each sounds fair.
Just enough to cover the cost of the cd if it's a friend.

Agreed. $2 for the effort, and then however much the CDs cost for you on top. Sounds fair enough. Better make sure you can't get in trouble if she does anything dodgey though.

Yeah or this.
$2 sounds fine.
