Windows programs "office, word, etc." wont install on my new MSI laptop (windows7)

Okay so here is the deal.
I recently purchased a small MSI laptop with no CD drive and windows 7. I started it all up and it works well, but when I goto "windows works" to access office and word it says "Type your 25 character product key"
I expect this with a new computer but when i looks in the box for the key.......there wasnt one, no sticker, no paper CD case with the CD and a key printed on it(because there is no CD drive of course).
So what do I do now? I have no key, so did they just not provide a full version of these programs and i have to go buy them separately?
Microsoft works =/= Microsoft office
And they did not provide a full version of the software, you'll have to pay for it
Don't get office, get openoffice.org
it's much better in my opinion

Open Office is TERRIBLE. Writer is the only somewhat decent thing to come out of it.
AbiWord is worse though. Buggy as shit.
