• Is there anyway to run games you bought through steam without having steam on?

So yeah, Is there anyway to run games you bought through steam without having steam on? I'm trying to do this with ArmA2, to squeeze a little extra power of not having steam on in the background. (My CPU aint' to good) It runs alright, but it ran better in the demo, when I didn't need to have steam on in the background. Any suggestions?

Oh well, thanks guys. Guess I'll just save for a better processor.
There are steam emulators, i don't think it is considered legal though.
Emulators are always more laggy.
