Oh well... PC gamers get the short end of the stick again.
Eh, that's fine I suppose. I'll find out if it's worth it in those two months.
I'm actually looking forward to this. I don't know why, but I do.
Played it at Comic Con. It's and alright Co-op game. Though terrible Resident Evil game.
It honestly looked worse to me when they started releasing gameplay footage. I guess this is for the best, I'll hear how it is before even getting it is an option.
I felt like this could have been a decent Resident Evil game, but it seems like the characters aren't really afraid of the zombies, which they should be, seeing as they're so infectious and oh so dangerous. It really saddens me that there really isnt a modern survival horror zombie game that isn't shit.
I like coop games whatever the style, gives me something to play with my friends who don't like competitive games as much. There is, however, a single dealbreaker. It better not include this bullshit again.

So, uh, what is this supposed to be?
Played it at Comic Con. It's and alright Co-op game. There was no way this was ever going to feel like a Resident Evil game. That said I look forward to its release, though if any of you are planning on getting it make sure you've got some friends to play with cause from what I'm hearing the buddy AI is absolute arse.
So, uh, what is this supposed to be?
Think third person L4D, but there are two human teams fighting each other as well as zombies.
Think third person L4D, but there are two human teams fighting each other as well as zombies.
And you can take zombies as meatshields.
And you can take zombies as meatshields.
And become a zombie yourself. Without having to switch to a different gamemode :v:

Thought the Umbrella Team you play would stick to being bad ass bad guys, but it seems that your team may switch over to help Leon and other characters.
I think you get the choice, If so then i'm offing leon ASAP.
I think you get the choice, If so then i'm offing leon ASAP.
You do get a choice. This game is basically choose your own adventure with guns and zombies. Apparently letting the player choose how they want to affect or change the story is a major point, with several different endings depending on what you choose. So if you want to completely screw over the plot of RE2+3 and kill Leon and Claire and Jill, then you can without failing the game. You just get a different ending that isn't cannon. Conversely you can choose to ignore and maybe even help key characters from previous games, and that will change how the game plays out. There's even a rumor that some of the survivors from the RE:Outbreak series will have a cameo. This is all based on previews from about a month or so ago. They're out there on most of the major gaming sites. Anyways, I'm getting this for PC when it finally does come around. If it wasn't already clear I'm excited for it.
I'm getting it too, I hope its like the RE outbreak games
Comes out just as I get back home from Florida. To be honest, I am looking forward to this. I enjoy Resident Evil (my friend loves it), and I do want a good alternative to Left4Dead. I am mostly curious how the story mode will work out, and I can already imagine how intense multiplayer will be. As for my friend....I can imagine him screaming whenever a Hunter comes after him.
I'm getting it too, I hope its like the RE outbreak games
It's not. At all. This one is a lot more action-oriented. Hopefully it doesn't have the 40 second load times between doors like Outbreak had either :v:

I wonder how turning into a zombie plays out though. You just run around trying to infect the rest of your team? doesn't really seem exciting since everyone is carrying assault weapons or unless you turn into one of those special zombies then its alright I guess.
So, uh, what is this supposed to be?
well basically there's your team and an enemy team, and between you are loads of zombies. also you get to kill basically everybody that was important in RE2 and totally fuck up the plot of the RE series from that point onwards, so that'll be interesting if nothing else

You first need to get infected than you watch a timer go down. You can stop it or you can watch your character die. They get up and than speed walk to the nearest team mate and just begin to attack them. You get no control of it. And yes, it an action game. 4 players playing Umbrella soldiers. You go through Raccoon City doing your mission and have moments where you meet with characters, both alive and undead. I guess you can say it plays like Lost Planet does, without the mechs and snow though. 3rd person shooter with cover. Characters have special gear and regular gear, which can be swapped around. And the levels/maps are just small sections that connect each other that you need to go through. So don't expect it having any Free Roam.
