Perfect, I've been looking for recording software that doesn't suck.

Bandicam works really well.
thats one sexy cooler.
As somebody who regularly bumps their head on the upper limit of their hard drive while FRAPSing, I’m all for this sort of thing. What about you?
Poor writing choice, they should have just said "while recording videos with FRAPS".
thats one sexy cooler.
It's the same as the titan cooler, and it costs a huge amount.
wow their recording technology seems pretty damn solid! I'd definitely be interested if I didn't have a 600 series

600 series is Kepler too, so it will work on your card
I have a 660 Ti and I'm pretty excited for this, been looking for recording software that doesn't suck for quite a while now

I use Dxtory. Unlike fraps, which makes my games lag like fuck, I can record 1080p with dxtory with almost no FPS drop. It's a wonderful program and kicks fraps's ass to hell and back.

I know dxtory is better than fraps, but I think my problems with recording might be connected to my dying motherboard.
No matter what program and settings I use, I either end up with an unplayable framerate, or a video file that's ~15 fps, and that's not good for anything.

How is your motherboard 'dying'? Are you sure your CPU and hard drive don't suck?
edit: ouch
While FRAPS cut Borderlands’ 59 frames-per-second down to around 30, the same system running with ShadowPlay managed to maintain a comparatively cool 44 fps.
I'd rather stick to dxtory with no fps drop at all.
A bit off-topic, but is a 750-850W power supply (Pretty sure it's a 750) enough to power a 780? Been looking to upgrade, probably will do once the price drops a bit.
I really wish they would release their graphics cards in order instead of skipping a few numbers.

not how the market has ever worked, for anything
It's so they can release mid range or low range cards down the line.

It sucks because I've had it completely built for two months now.

um dude I don't know whether you've tried unregistered hypercam 2 but it's fucking baller
[editline]23rd May 2013[/editline]
Also just like all flagship nvidia GPUs the price of this is fucking mental; the best thing about the 700 series is that the 770 is basically just a heavily discounted 680, which incidentally will also plummet in price

Do you have any experience with using Dxtory in XSplit?
Nvidia are reportedly keeping the file size of their videos down to a manageable level, too, by compressing and encoding on the fly. The results are saved automatically in .mp4 format, ready for YouTube.
Thank fuck, no more xGB video files.
35% performance gain on average? That's extremely good if true, usually it was 15-20% increase between series.
I guess it'll be time for me to upgrade the old GTX260 this year.
Think i'll wait for the first price drop though.
But they announced 680 just last year.
I've still got my heart set on a 670, hopefully this will make it go under $300 soon.

I'm going to upgrade from a 560ti to a 760ti, or a 770 this time around.

Oooh but the 560 ti has been so good, what's the hate bro?

Just want to upgrade, i need some more power for the programs i'm going to be using.
Also, a lot of games are starting to feel sluggish.
