Good free animation programs?

Looking for a free animation program that I can use to make something short. Any suggestions?

It depends on what medium you want. For 3D, I'd suggest blender or SFM. If you wanted 2D stuff I'd suggest Pivot, but you'd have to figure it out how to use it.

I believe there is a 30 day free trail for adobe products, if you can make it in enough time with flash.

Like drawing wise. Pivot is neat but not what I'm looking for.

Draw each frame in MS Paint and then put them together in Windows Movie Maker
