People aren't playing it for the game but for the loot system so they can get a skirt or a trench coat and make hundreds of dollars in profit by selling them to poor losers who have no idea that these virtual items have no real world value.

Sounds to me like you're just upset you don't have hundreds to throw around on things you want and enjoy like those people do.
