Can they now please change their controversial "all new cosmetics are event based" system
Seems reasonable, the difference between the team that got 0% on the point and the team that got 2% on the point isn't enough to call the game over.

Not all, just most. Reinhardt had 2 skins that weren't event based.

Personally, as an Overwatch player, this doesn't bother me. I have like 2 legendary skins and I haven't even bothered to go into the inventory screen to equip them. I simply do not give a single shit about cosmetics, and the people who do are an enigma to me.

I kind of agree and disagree. While I do think it's kind of annoying that the skins are 3x the price and are around for only a limited time, I also don't really care if I do get the skins or not. Like, I really did want Roadhog's New Year's skin, but at the same time, I'm not going to riot or stop playing because I missed out on it.
I'm just kind of like, "That sucks. Ah, well."

Frankly they should be cheaper in cost than non event items and restricted to random drops at a somewhat lower rate than non event items after the event.

Like, serious game breaking issues involve hero balance, level design, gamemode design, etc. Cosmetics would be at the bottom of the list of things that impact the game flow and experience, no?

He's at one end of the extremes..
The other extreme is voiced by a minority, a minority present here on facepunch, that sound like gambling addicts on the verge of nuking their life savings for crates to unlock JUST the right skin to satiate their lust.
