Hey ok so I picked up MW2 for PC and also purchased my video card my mw2 arrives and 10minutes later *knock knock* my Palit GTX 260 Super arrives so I am happy.
I open up my PC put my new shiny graphics card in (btw its fucking huge) and see there is 2x 6 Pin's on the graphics card and I find I only have 1 6 Pin connector in my graphics card box.. so I plug it in hook it up to my power supply and power up my monitor makes the normal power on sound.
No Display.
So does my question :
Does my GTX 260 require 2 x 6 Pin connectors to power on ?
this is the GTX 260 : http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/PCI-E/nVIDIA+GTX+260%2F280+Series/PALIT+Geforce+GTX+260+SONIC+216SP+896MB+PCIE+?productId=37461
because only 1 x 6 Pin connector was included with my graphics card.
p.s. I have a 600W powersupply
Yeah it does.
see if you can get an adaptor to change 2x 4-pin into a 6pin
so if i needed 2 x 6 pin connectors then why didn't they come in the box :/
What power supply do you have?
[editline]10:58PM[/editline]
you supposed to have one on your supply and the other with the adapter that came with it. Or two on your supply.
so do I need one of these? http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Peripherals/Cabling/Power+Cables/4Pin+Molex+to+PCI-E+6Pin+Adapter+?productId=17133
Also I don't think my power supply is even a brand :P (de-branded)
Yeah but I dunno about that site.
It's a good site.
Takes alot of people to get a rating like that.

personally I'd just buy a new PSU, using bad brands is risky enough and I wouldn't trust them using 2 molex-to-PCI-E, would it even have 4 molexs free?

help facepunch:(
How many 12V lines do you have? If you have 1 try and find a converter that changes your 12V line cable into 2 6 pin connectors, if you have 2 12V lines just attach a 6 pin cable on both rails which you can find 6 pin cables all around, this all is assuming you have a modular power supply.
