• Computer freezing consistantly

Well I have just build a computer, it has decent specs: HD 4850 ddr3 1333 crucial memory intel core 2 e8400 intel dp45sg mobo But now after I boot (in linux or windows) I can only use either OS for about 5 minutes before my PC completely freezes. When it freezes the audio loops, the image on the screen freezes and the power to my mouse and keyboard shuts off (I can tell because they have LED's) So does anyone know what is wrong?
sounds like a ram problem, is your ram set to the specified voltages and timings?
Yes, 6-6-6-20 and 1.8v
ok Open the windows event viewer, which is under administrative tools in the control panel, [editline]02:17AM[/editline] look for the most recent critical/fatal error, bsod
