Hello, could anyone help me fix this almost impossible serious lag spike when online gaming? I have tried nearly every fix in existent trying to solve the problem but, no use. I'm using Windows 7 and Wireless connection. Any game starts up pretty smooth around 20 FPS and my Ping is around 100, then goes apeshit over 200+ ms and my FPS decreases to 10 or less. Then goes back being smooth and nothing happens... Then it repeats every time. This is driving me crazy please help!
This happened to me too when I ran games wireless. I just ran a cat5 all the way up to my room and that fixed the problem for me. If you don't want to do that I read about how some wireless cards search for better/different networks every X amount seconds. So try and find anyway to stop your card from searching for different networks. Not saying this is the reason, just giving a little input.
