It was famous for being fucking unstoppable. The thing could get chewed up by AA fire and still fly home. It was the A-10 of the era.
In pretty much every other category it was mediocre.

Pilots of these things were insane. The front was so heavily armored, the best course of attack was to fly head-on into squadrons of enemy planes.
But yeah, basically it was a flying tank with a decent amount of firepower, but it was not going to be out climbing or out running anything.

With no internals they might as well just be buying external aircraft models from turbosquid for $200 and firing them into the game and charging a ridiculous mark-up on them.
