He says the Season Pass content is bigger, and compares it to the General Knoxx DLC from the first game.
If the first DLC is like this then I'll probably buy the Season Pass. Massively enjoying BL2 right now.
More talking guns pls
Need more enemies like the Crimson Lance of General Knox, they really required some strategy.
More talking guns pls
It got boring pretty quick...especially since it bugged out on me and every gun "talked"
I want a DLC that brings back Atlas in some way.
Put the Chimera/Ogre/Hydra/Troll/Cyclops as quest rewards, and maybe make the Aries a legendary boss drop.
I kind of figured that this would be the case since the mechromancer couldn't possibly have been a part of the season pass bundle. I'm okay with this as long as it doesn't decend into Saints Row 3 levels of bollocks where hardly any content (and in the case of SRTT content already in the files) is being sold for comparatively retarded amounts of money.
Borderlands would be great with mod tools/workshop, but then they wouldn't get DLC profit.
They should fix the networking before they release DLC. I can't connect at all to my friend, and he can't connect to me.
I wish they had kept the old gun models and parts for BL2, like, have them scattered around, like rare weapons, even if they aren't actually that good.

It is a team. They have the capability of multitasking.

All of you need to verify integrity of game cache, and the problem should fix itself. And you not the Borderlands development team doesn't all work on a single thing. Developers aren't network engineers.
I don't think a new character is really worth $10.
I don't think a new character is really worth $10.
Well you have to model the character, come up with head variants, Model all the viewmodels, come up with 3 skill tree's that are balanced, texture the model, come up with skin variants voice act the model, and animate the model.
I think $10 is fair. Now if it was $15 like a campaign DLC that would be a bit much, but $10 is fine.
I never understood the hype for this game tbh, it seems really run-of-the-mill FPS but with thousands of guns that are basically reskins of the last gun with slight stat changes, plus the humor is awful from the gameplay I have seen.
I'm probably going to regret posting this.

You can buy many games for only $10. A single character should be at most only $5.

One character isn't worth $10 from a consumer value standpoint.

A character, no not really.
But for DLC in general, to me $10 is an ok price I can manage.

yeah it is
source: me, a consumer
this just in: people value digital content differently
I want another Crawmerax, or a DLC showing off the story of how New Haven fell to Handsome Jacks army.

it takes a certain kind of person to enjoy it, i admit.
i have a lot of fun with "watch the numbers get bigger" games like borderlands, torchlight, and dungeon defenders, but i can easily see why people wouldn't enjoy them. they're very, very repetitive.
(though for the record i kind of agree that borderlands is dangerously close to "trying-too-hard" territory with its humor... it gets a laugh from me every once in a while but for the most part, i just kind of roll my eyes.)
If the DLC is anything like the ones for Borderlands 1 (excluding the Underdome) I'm fine with this.
I would actually like to see a dlc about how [sp]Jack got that Vault symbol on his face.[/sp] It would be a definite buy for me.

I'm not a big fan of how repetitive it is, but it has enough of a story to keep me going for most of it.
I think it depends what kind of DLC. We have the season pass laid out and we know those will be lengthy, quality story type affairs. Now, for the other DLC, are we talking about a few new characters similar to Gaige? If so, sign me up.
On the other hand, we could be talking about stuff like new character skins or heads that sell for 1$ a piece. I'm afraid that is more likely and that is not the type of DLC I'm interested in supporting.
That's pretty lame, I'd be bummed if I bought the Season Pass and learned there was a bunch of stuff I had to pay more for.
Say what you will about BF3 Premium, at least it included all the DLC.

The season pass gets you access to 4 Campaign addons, it says nothing about anything else.
I'm actually okay with this. Borderlands is massively replayable anyways, but to have a steady stream of new stuff like this makes it even better. Normally I'm not one for DLC but I think these guys handle it the right way.
Can't wait for the Mechromancer, good thing I pre-ordered the game.
