On how simple and time consuming it is to take care of the yard. If it's a complex yard to take care of then we'll charge more, and if it's pretty simple then we'll charge less. All of the yards we cut are residences. We don't cut anything like farms, etc.

Probably. My stepdad only does this part time; he has a regular job that brings in most of the income. I'd hate to mow lawns for a living. Owners of lawn companies generally hire a few Mexicans to do most of the work for them, and they don't pay them that well.

Run it over. There's this one yard that we mow that has like 50 piles of dog shit in the back yard. I used to mow it with a walk behind mower until I got sick of it because it was like walking in a minefield, and eventually I asked my stepdad to use the rider mower to mow it. He also has to weedeat back there, and it's not a pleasant thing to take a weedeater to a pile of dog shit.
You should charge a dollar per dog shit.
