Well, I got one pretty dumb problem. As stated in the title, I haven't got any shortucs on my desktop. I just rebooted it, and poof, nothing by my wonderful and colorful background.
I can't re-add the "My Computer" or such shortcuts by going to the desktop properties. I can right click on the desktop, even add a shortcut or a folder, but these won't appear. But when I go to the "Desktop" folder in my documents, all my shortcut are still fucking here :argh:
Last day, I installed InfraRecorder, burned shit with it, and it didn't worked. guess what ? IR has automatically uninstalled itself, so I'm performing an AV scan to figure if it's not some kind of virus. Will launch Spybot after.
Any idea on wht could cause this ?
Sounds like something important got deleted somehow, which could possibly be a Virus.

Right click go to view and be sure "show desktop icons" is checked.

That's a good one. I take a screenshot of the desktop, kill explorer and prevent it from restarting after reboot. Confuses even my own techs
