Might want some RAM with that.
Get a better hard drive and a less overkill PSU.
[editline]04:46AM[/editline]
and some RAM
haha forgot the ram
well he said that i could be around 400dalllors
also, does he need an OS, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc?
just an OS. he has everything else
So then about 100bux will have to be knocked off the computer cost.

435, not giving you a shitty PSU, and only slightly shitty motherboard.
Gayman rigs just don't happen very well for 400 if you need things other than just hardware.
Yeah it's a shitty-ass no-name PSU but I couldn't find anything else:frown:
[editline]04:36AM[/editline]
get my build with buttsex's PSU if you can afford it
ok got to talk it over with my friend now
Just pop one of dem Radeon 9250 in that computer, and you be playin with full bump-mapping.
On a more serious note, why does that game bitch about when you have a weak GPU? The AI is shit, and it doesn't even look like it needs DX8.
yeah you can pay it on almost anything anymore
[img]http://h.imagehost.org/0435/Boxxy.gif[/img]
it may be cheaper to upgrade your current
well his current kind of blew up the other day. lol
Blew up? Computers don't just blow up. I've seen power supplies and CRT monitors catch fire (fire was coming out of the vents, shit was so cash), but that's it as far as pyrotechnics from computer parts goes.
So what happened?
its just crapped out. it was really old i guess.
thats why he want a new one now
See, this is a perfect example of a typical WoW player. He can't spell for shit and the only thing he needs his PC for is WoW. Get out.
yeah, too bad i'm not the wow player in this picture.

That RAM is not compatible with that motherboard. It's apple laptop ram, not desktop RAM. Also, with WoW you may want to consider getting 4 gigs because it seems to be using a TON of memory, even on low settings lately.
Haha, this is kind of like when John insisted he hadn't linked to SO-DIMM.

I built a World Of Warcraft PC for my girlfriend and it was this:
Athlon x2 2.7Ghz
2GB DDR2 Ram
ATi 4550
250GB HDD
Galaxy Case
450w PSU
Came to about 215£ and she runs it all on high
