So I was just sitting here and my CPU cooling unit make a clicking noise and fell on my 400$ graphics card I just bought.
Nothing broke luckly except I had to scalvage a 360$ motherboard for a plactic thing to fix it.
Any one have a clue why this happened?
Because I was playing Men of War and it got all slo-mo after I hear this clickish sort of cracking sound then I freaked out and shut down EVERYTHING.
Anyone elss ever had this happen?
Not to me :/ Check if anythings loose.

Oh hello.
What brand? When I built my PC, the stock Intel cooler with it's pins didn't look trustworthy. You may have forgot to secure them or they just popped out because you didn't put them in all the way.
When I used to be dumb I was looking around inside my computer and unwittingly unclasped the cpu cooler. It stayed on the cpu from the strength of the thermal paste alone for about 2 hours and then fell off.
Try bolting it on instead of using the shitty push pin method.

Fucking pushpins. Fuck them all.
I've actually had good experiences with push-pins, honestly. It might have to do with the fact that I don't believe in cases though, so when I'm putting it on, I put the mobo on my lap and make sure that shit is secure.
So instead of mounting it to something secure you just try to hold it?
I fucking hate push pins.. They break so easily..

Best thing I've ever bought... Fucking works well.
I have a massive CPU waterblock that has a similar system above. No way I'm going back because once you screw that shit tight it goes nowhere.
My artic cooling heatsink is only held on by a flimsy piece of plastic now that I think about it :v:
