my little brother got this snes/nes hybrid thing from thinkgeek a while ago with super mario world, and i've started to use it since he's bored of it now.
the problem is that the controllers are sticky as fuck from his disgusting-ass saliva hands and i can't for the life of me get it out.
anyone have a solution?
open it up and get a cotton swab of rubbing alcohol and rub the joytick and button parts. all i know that i can tell u

You could try taking off the plastic cover and cleaning that while leaving the parts of the controller dry.

you reminded me that i had 2 of those kfc swabs in my drawer.
that did the trick. its still not perfect but its at least tolerable now.
