After I updated my Touch 3g 8gb it became super mega uber slow. For example lets say I press the Home button(round with a box in the middle) it has a delay of like 5 seconds before the screen shows with the unlock slider. After I unlock it it youst frezes.
The Ipod is not jailbroken!
I'l provide more information as you might need it.
What I tried alerady:
-Turn it off then back on
-Use a backup iTunes made during the update process
I don't realy know what else I could try so HALP!
***Ipod is super slow how to fix?***
Are you on iOS4?
You probably have WAYYY to much stuff on there. Maybe that's it?
System overload of stuff... clear cache's and other unnecessary stuff on it
think about it... how smooth was it when you first used it?
I've heard that the update made the older 3G iPhones slow, but nothing about the iPod Touch.
It could be the same, however let's not conclude the worst first.
Try backing up your apps, and then whiping it, deleting everything.
Clear all cookies and stuff and delete unecessary apps.

The animations and usability feel a lot smoother and cleaner than before imo
My iPod is so much faster since iOS4. Using an ipt3g 8gb here. Just restore and reinstall.
