Ext. Hard Drive slowed down to 1/4 of it's original speed.

I am clueless.
I purchased this HD 4 months ago and it was super fast when I saved files via USB 3.0, now it slowed down dramatically to a fake 50mb/s.. and by fake I mean that it says 50mb/s and "10 seconds remaining" but in fact it takes 10 times longer.
The HD is Seagate backup plus 1TB (STBU1000200)
I used "CrystalDisk" to test it and avg speed was 36mb/s
Use seatools to test it for errors.
No errors, no faulty sectors etc. Yet the HD is as slow as never, it took over 4 mins to write 155MBs big installation file.
Whenever I've had this "fake statistics" It's stuck around with the drive until I formatted it. Though I've only ever had it happen on USB flash drives.
I formatted it without the "Fast format" enabled.
Hell, it took around 7 hours and the speeds are still as low as before.
Any other clues?
You may need to defragment the partition.
Depending on the Windows OS you have you'll need to either
WinXP: Run CMD(if you're logged in as user without administrative privileges, you'll need to use "run as" option or switch users for the defrag time before opening CMD) then type in "defrag <hard drive/partition letter>: -f", the last parameter is to force defragmentation even if the drive does have less than 15% of free space.
Windows Vista and later: you'll need to run CMD as administrator then use defrag <partition letter>: -w to start more precise defrag.
Have you tried booting with a repair-on disk to the CMOS setup of your TRANS_DISK drive?
F11+F2 at the same time during the intial bootup course of IMOS should give you the menu you are looking for.
Try different USB ports (the ones on the rear) and a different PC.
