Ok, so whenever I listen to music on PC, I get this crackling/static noise, it gets pretty annoying after a while. It's not my headset because I use the same one on my Xbox (I listen to music there too) and I don't get any static or crackling on it. My soundcard is an integrated realtek soundcard and the drivers are the most up to date, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled them but I still get that crackling noise. My headset plugs into a "Mix amp" type device and then it's connected to my PC via a fiber optic cable as well as my xbox, so I can use my headset on both of them, and I've tried switching cables and plugging the headset directly into the audio jack and I still get that static. So I'm pretty sure it's the sound card thats causing it. Anyone know how to get rid of the static?
I made a post in the quick questions thread but didn't get a response, help anyone?
Maybe your headset and PC settings for sound don't match, Could be the audio quality, or the volume.
