When I purchased my Dell XPS I was told that it came with a [b]Free[/b] Windows 7 Upgrade. I registered on their site to get my disc, and guess what I found. USA: [img]http://i.imagehost.org/0986/usa.jpg[/img] United Arab Emirates: [img]http://i.imagehost.org/0986/usa.jpg[/img] China: [img]http://i.imagehost.org/0986/usa.jpg[/img] Phillipines: [img]http://i.imagehost.org/0986/usa.jpg[/img] [b]UK (Where I live):[/b] [img]http://i.imagehost.org/0464/Capture.jpg[/img] Yep, my [i]Free[/i] Windows 7 Upgrade is going to cost me £15. Shipping, handling, and tax. That's bullshit. Fuck you Dell, for trying to get more money from me.

one explanation for china and shit, is that most of the computer crap is made in asia (especially Malaysia). So its easier for them to ship it there.. but I duno.
Just be happy you get it for so cheap. I missed the free upgrade shit by one week.
