:siren: SOLVED BY MY OWN STUPIDITY :siren: I'm going to make this short because I have to go out of the house soon. I have installed windows XP as a dual boot with W7. Only problem is that the network card drivers aren't installed and I have no clue which ones to get. [IMG]http://imgur.com/ZR3g9.png[/IMG] I got the specs with Everest. As you can see, it is a very undescriptive hardware name and I have no clue what series it is. And I need internet. :v: Thank you all in advance for your help. [editline]11:20AM[/editline] Shit, my ip. Oh well.
Your best bet is to find out your PC's model, and go to your PC's manufacturers website to acquire the drivers. ;)

You then goto [url]http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers[/url] plug in the info for your motherboard and then install the drivers it gives you. [editline]06:35PM[/editline] Hint hint your product type will be nForce. [editline]06:38PM[/editline] And how do you not have internet? You have been assigned a local address from your router so your network card is obviously working.
make sure your internet isn't running on a dummy proxy
You should be more worried about your MAC address than your Private IP address.

[editline]06:02PM[/editline] Alright, on XP right now. Everest was telling me "UNKNOWN MOTHERBOARD LOL" So in a blind rage, I clicked into my C drive and I saw a folder labeled NVIDIA. I was like, :geno:. It turns out, I had the installation files for the drivers on m computer the whole time. Thanks for trying to help me though.
