Ever since I upgraded the the 4.0 on my 3GS, I haven't been able to connect to any websites or use any apps that require network usage.
It just times out whenever I try to connect to something with Edge, 3G and even full 3G. It's not the antennae issue, I'm "holding it the right way". Is anyone else getting this? Is there a fix? I've already searched all over Google and found nothing.

I've already restored it, still have the problem. It is currently un-jailbroken.
Reinstall the firmware, without restoring it and see if it works.

I'll try that, thanks.
1. Open cydia and install winterboard
2. add source: http://cydia.xsellize.com
3. Search Supreme Preferences 3.0 and install
4. Open winterboard
5. check it off the supreme preference tab and respring
6. Then go to settings
7. click supreme preferences tab and go to applications, than go to phone.
8. Cellular data tab: On
9. Click home, than settings
10. General, network, and it should be their.
Try using it at a wifi access point. It might be a hardware issue. Strange that it happened on the upgrade though.
i had the same thing except the wifi worked all i had to do was restore and it was all good.
