what antivirus should i get? - Hardware & Software

I just got my new computer so i need to know what antivirus i should use

AVG free. I guess Dare anyone to Disagree

AVG or Avast and spybot S&D for spyware.

If you want [b]real[/b] Anti-Virus get bitdefender or g-data. gdata updates virus database every minute, BDF every 2 hours, but bitdefender comes with a shitload of extra features.

I had AVG Free. It's all I needed really. Never had a virus while running it. Then again, I never actually received a "Trojan found"-message. You don't get those unless you're stupid. If you want a free antivirus, get AVG Free. If you want a good antivirus, but it'll cost, get NOD 32. Theres a demo. PS; the only reason why AVG gets hate is because its a bit of a RAM hogger.

NOD32 if you want to pay. Check online, as I've seen NCIX selling a one-year license for $10 every now and then. It seems to always be version 3, but just throw the disk out and use the license key on V. 4.

I am using NOD32, great anti-virus, wouldn't pay for it though.

Fucking agree with Avira AntiVir. That shit works so good. Also try updating drivers.
