I don't blame them, he's scary as fuck. Penumbra don't got shit on Mr. Resetti.
What a buncha pussies.
I can see this happening with young children, my little sister apparently cried once when she saw him.
What a buncha pussies.
Well they are little girls
He scared the fuck out of me when I was a little kid, I remember actually removing my memory card when he said he would delete my save data :(

In other news, it's a shame that this is a 3DS exclusive.
What really scared me was this
How do you get that again?
How do you get that again?
Turning off your GC while visiting another town. You also lose your entire inventory.
In other news, it's a shame that this is a 3DS exclusive.
Why? The 3DS needs more games and exclusives so the 3DS can get more sales and Nintendo can get back on their feet.
In other news, it's a shame that this is a 3DS exclusive.
One of my favorite part of AC:WW was that it was portable.
That bastard always made me jump when I saw him as a kid Thank god for this
Why? The 3DS needs more games and exclusives so the 3DS can get more sales and Nintendo can get back on their feet.
Well, I don't want to buy one to play AC:NL. That 3D mode is a massive gimmick. I still have an old DS Lite that I'd like to play this on, but I can't.
Why? They could probably like straight port it from 3DS to WiiU with only a few control modifications and graphical edits. [editline]12th April 2013[/editline]
Well, I don't want to buy one to play AC:NL. That 3D mode is a massive gimmick. It's not just the 3d gimmick (which as an owner of a 3ds I use hardly fucking ever). Like it probably wouldn't run on a DS the same way you can't run PS3 games on a PS2.

That's like not liking PC games because you don't like STEAM. You don't have to have the 3D on, and the reason you can't play this on your DS Lite is because your DS Lite has 9 year old hardware.
You don't have to use the 3D. Plus, the 3DS is just more powerful than the old DS.
Oh. And yet I still want to get myself an original DS again ever since mine broke off the hinges.
Oh. And yet I still want to get myself an original DS again ever since mine broke off the hinges.
You might as well get a 3DS, it seems to have backwards compatability
In the European manual for Animal Crossing: City Folk, there's actually a parental guidance warning about him:
Information for parents - Mr Resetti It is important that players save before switching off the Wii console in order to retain data after each play session (see Saving Data, above). If players switch off without saving, the character Mr. Resetti may appear upon restarting. Mr. Resetti's purpose is to teach players the importance of saving. However, parents should be aware that his personality and tone of voice, while intentionally humourous, are authoritative and may be disturbing to young children.

Oh. And yet I still want to get myself an original DS again ever since mine broke off the hinges.
The DS lite is my favorite DS in the first generation DS family, despite its mechanical failure. I would just buy another one. But if you want to play the new Animal Crossing, like I do, you'll have to get a 3DS. I got one a long time ago with Animal Crossing in mind.
Oh. And yet I still want to get myself an original DS again ever since mine broke off the hinges.
If I was you I would just get a 3ds or a 3dsxl. It's backwards compatible with like all DS games afaik and then you can play new leaf on it.
You might as well get a 3DS, it seems to have backwards compatability
The only backwards compatibility it lacks is GBA. Though it's less relevant now than then. From the DSi and onward, they lost it which adds to why I like the DS lite.
I remember the horror of accidentally resetting my Gamecube I had nightmares for weeks
Animal Crossing should have auto-save already IMO
The only backwards compatibility it lacks is GBA. Though it's less relevant now than then. From the DSi and onward, they lost it which adds to why I like the DS lite.
That was a major turnoff for me. Same with the Wii U lacking Gamecube compatibility.
I remember playing the game and he wanted me to type some sentence out... I tried a few times, Wasnt too good at spelling at the time. Then just gave up and played Super Mario Sunshine or Pikman each time.
That was a major turnoff for me. Same with the Wii U lacking Gamecube compatibility.
Like I said, at this point GBA compatibility isn't very important since the GBA is dead. Similar thing applies to the Gamecube and the WiiU.
That was a major turnoff for me. Same with the Wii U lacking Gamecube compatibility.
Well the Gamecube games are two generations away from the Wii U, as are the GBA with 3DS. I'd just get those two consoles I wanted to play those old games.
Animal Crossing should have auto-save already IMO
Or at least bring save and continue back.
