• Keeping a good resolution when transferring a video from camera to computer

I have just recorded some clips for some friends of mine, I would like to know how to keep a good resolution when transferring it to a computer. It's a very old camera, so i want to get the best resolution possible for the final clips, is there any software that could keep the native resolution and make it as un-pixellated as possible? Thanks for any help.
No that's the best resolution when you transfer it. It's a shitty camera/shitty camera settings. It probably looks great on the tiny camera screen but not on anything with some resolution behind it.
Hmm okay :/ Whilst i've still got this thread, does anyone know how to properly transfer a video from a Sony SteadyShot camera onto my computer, I connect it via the USB wire, but nothing happens??
