I have googled this and found that it is possible if you have a windows xp CD or ISO thing. I am curious if it is possible to sort of "copy" all of the windows xp files from an existing windows xp computer to a CD or flash drive so that I could install windows xp mode on my windows 7 64 bit home premium that supports virutalization. Or is there another way?
Thanks
Not possible. Why do you want XP mode anyways? It's shit.
I don't know.

Some of us, like myself, have programs that don't run on Vista/7 that do on XP. It serves its purpose of running old programs that won't work under compatibility mode.
Anyway, get VMLite XP. Problem solved.

Just in case you're thinking about it -
XP MODE IS NOT FOR GAMES OR 3D INTENSIVE APPLICATIONS
If you got an .iso file of Windows XP, you can install in in Virtual PC with integration features, but you can't run XP applications in their own window inside Windows 7. (AFAIK)
Oh my god people I know you can't get it on home premium. I wanted to know if there was a glitch/hack or another program that could do it.
How do you make an iso file from an existing xp computer?
You don't. You use a real XP disk, or download the ISO from something like MSDN.
Get an XP disk and install it in VirtualBox.
So is everyone just ignoring my post or what
