I want to go back to XP from 7 but can't back my files up right now, is it possible to do this and keep all my stuff? If so, then how do you do it? Thanks in advance!
the best way is to make a partition on your current drive, then install XP on the new partition. I don't see why you would want to go back to XP though. Win7 has an XP mode.
why do you want to reinstall xp
God, i hate when people question why he want's to install XP. It's his god damn business. Anyway, the best way is to make a partition then just when you are installing XP select that partition. Here is a video tutorial on how to partition.
Im just saying that it would probably be easier to install the windows 7 XP mode.
Thankyou! Talking to you from xp now. Windows 7 stopped working properly and I don't have the CD with me or anything to back my stuff up with. I don't know why I didn't think of partitioning myself though, I've done it before. Oh well thanks anyway :3:
Lol XP is 8 years old.

OP, if you have Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions of Windows 7 then you can download Windows XP Mode from Microsoft. It's a full Windows XP SP3 installation inside a virtual machine that runs seamlessly alongside your Windows 7 install. If you have Home Premium, then try using the compatibility mode (which is much better in Win7).
